Commissions

The main goal of Eastern Standard is to promote and extend the body of repertoire for the Horn/Tuba/Piano Trio. To that end, the group has been active in seeking funding, identifying collaborative composers, and engaging in commissioning, recording, and performance projects. The unique blend of the conical brass instruments with piano is one which is both beautiful and expressive. Eastern Standard hopes to make the general awareness of this instrumentation more mainstream.
